Roger’s Food Policy

Our policy is to purchase as much of our food as possible from the local area which, is an endorsement of our Slow Food policy for which, I am a member.

This can come directly from a producer i.e.  Elan Valley Mutton company, Cothi Valley Goats Cheese or local Cambrian Mountin Lamb however, these must comply with our traceability requirements but they need not necessarily be Organic.

The use of local Farmers Markets, for which I am a Food  Ambassador for Mid Wales on behalf of the National Assembly of Wales. I also produced a program with B.B.C. Radio Four “On your Farm” highlighting the use of Farmers Markets and working directly with food producers.
